III. Scope and Focus 

The journal "Materials Working by Pressure" (Обробка матеріалів тиском) publishes articles containing new 
scientific results in the development and application of theoretical analysis methods, computer modeling, 
experimental research, and the design of advanced technologies, tools, and equipment for materials working by 
pressure in mechanical engineering, instrument making, and metallurgy.  

Main Goal: Dissemination of scientific and technical information on the latest achievements and research results 
in the field of plastic deformation of metals and materials working by pressure.  

Core Objectives: 

  • Providing a platform for the publication and free dissemination of scientific results.  
  • Examining the most relevant and promising directions for the development of the field.

V. Journal History

The publication traces its history back to 1988, with the release of the first collection of scientific papers of the 
Kramatorsk Industrial Institute (now DSEA). The founder and first editor-in-chief was the Rector of the Institute, 
Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Lev Mykolaiovych Sokolov.  

Since 2001, the journal has been included in the list of specialized scientific publications of Ukraine. For decades, the publication has provided information support for international conferences and collaborated with industrial giants such as PJSC "NKMZ" and PJSC "EMSS," as well as institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
